Oddworld Wiki

Hi! Welcome to the Oddworld Fandom Wiki!

Recently OWI has began to publish posts on their Twitter citing articles from this site, along with content that heavily implies that the wiki is in some way official or sanctioned.

We'd like to dispel this rumor now: The Fandom Wiki is 100% community run and has in fact been long plagued by information of dubious validity, despite the valiant efforts of its editors (whose job we really appreciate, keep up the good fight!). For this reason, we'd like to ask our readers to take everything here with a great chunk of salt, especially when it comes to content without valid citations.

If you wish to fight against misinformation, you're encouraged to contribute high-quality content to the wiki—that is content that's propped up by a trusted source (examples include: Oddworld.com, Magog on the March, or The Oddworld Library) and contain no headcanons, theorizing, or any further content not directly coming from Oddworld Inhabitants.

Thank you for your attention and understanding! Happy reading and editing!

The Vykker's Conglomerate is an industrial corporation that is operated and owned by Vykkers. The Conglomerate is the Vykker equivalent to the Glukkon's Magog Cartel. For many years the Vykkers Conglomerate had spent most of their revenue developing and contemplating a facility that, rather than resting on the ground, would float daintily in the air above. Many of these facilities were built under the name of Vykkers Labs, but the first one to be completely free-floating is Vykkers Labs 13. They also have ground labs and submarine labs for testing.

Operations[]

Vykker Contract

A contract for "Projekt Soulstorm"

Vykker's Conglomerate has two main operations. One is that they take on contracts for the development of new technology, mainly for subsidiaries of the Magog Cartel. Such inventions include leavers, rock-saws, trap doors, Greeters, slam-doors and electric security gates. Most notably, they co-developed Soulstorm Brew alongside the Alchemical Guild and the Brewmaster. These products are tested within a Vykker's Labs facility for approval. The other main operation is the testing of their own products. These tend to be consumer products, such a laxatives or artificial sweeteners.

All products are tested within a Vykker's Labs facility, usually at the expense of alive and sapient test subjects. This requires an extensive set of traps, which Vykkers must frequently collect from. Fuzzles are the main test subjects, but Mudokons and Elums are also used.

Vykker Products[]

Many of the innovative and useful products featured by the Vykker's Conglomerate are featured in Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, some like Butt-Flo also make an appearance in Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD as an easter egg.
