Oddworld Wiki

Hi! Welcome to the Oddworld Fandom Wiki!

Recently OWI has began to publish posts on their Twitter citing articles from this site, along with content that heavily implies that the wiki is in some way official or sanctioned.

We'd like to dispel this rumor now: The Fandom Wiki is 100% community run and has in fact been long plagued by information of dubious validity, despite the valiant efforts of its editors (whose job we really appreciate, keep up the good fight!). For this reason, we'd like to ask our readers to take everything here with a great chunk of salt, especially when it comes to content without valid citations.

If you wish to fight against misinformation, you're encouraged to contribute high-quality content to the wiki—that is content that's propped up by a trusted source (examples include: Oddworld.com, Magog on the March, or The Oddworld Library) and contain no headcanons, theorizing, or any further content not directly coming from Oddworld Inhabitants.

Thank you for your attention and understanding! Happy reading and editing!

Moved becayse he is referred as 'Brewmaster' in the Oddworld official site. --Andrettin 20:09, 16 Aug 2005 (UTC)

not in boiler cutscene[]

he isn't one of the three glukkons in the boiler cutscene, they were ALL purple skinned, and he is green, not to mention the head shapes are different, his has pronounced ridges, theirs don't. Someone says in the article that one of these glukkons is the brewmaster, when clearly, none are. The three gluks are his lackies, but not him, even if one does sound like him. I'm going to change this, unless of course, someone can tell me what source says one of these gluks is the bremaster...Tristan7grunt 17:46, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

New page for Soulstorm varient?[]

Unlike with locations such as Necrum, this is a completely different character who just so happens to fill the same role and position title as the Abe's Exoddus. I'm thinking it might be a better idea to give the Soulstorm Brewmaster his own page. - GameBoyAdv2004

I understand the reasoning, but I don't think the new lore is so radically different that it needs its own page. As with all other articles with conflicting lore I'd simply give it its own section on the page. The written sections can always be split up to their own pages down the line if need be. For now I think having both versions on the same page is a cleaner and less confusing solution to the conflicting lore. I'll gladly see what others think, though. On the Molluck page we added a section for Soulstorm lore which worked well, I say we just do that for this page as well :) Zombiecrackers46805 (talk) 18:02, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

I'd prefer to put new lore as primary and old lore as secondary. So that means the main pic in the infobox is of the new character designs, and the Soulstorm section comes before that of older games. That's how articles for locations like the Brewery are already set up. TigerXtrm (talk) 20:28, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Agreed when I added the new pictures for them I added the soulstorm version first for this reason I think it's a good idea Zombiecrackers46805 (talk) 21:53, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
