The Steel Hose, as its name implies, is a metallic hose made out of stainless steel. This tough, flexible hose was originally meant for plumbing, but in the hands of Abe, it becomes one of the key ingredients needed to craft the dreaded Flamethrower. Due to this, the Steel Hose is a relatively uncommon crafting item in the game, appearing very late at Necrum Mines.
