Oddworld Wiki

Hi! Welcome to the Oddworld Fandom Wiki!

Recently OWI has began to publish posts on their Twitter citing articles from this site, along with content that heavily implies that the wiki is in some way official or sanctioned.

We'd like to dispel this rumor now: The Fandom Wiki is 100% community run and has in fact been long plagued by information of dubious validity, despite the valiant efforts of its editors (whose job we really appreciate, keep up the good fight!). For this reason, we'd like to ask our readers to take everything here with a great chunk of salt, especially when it comes to content without valid citations.

If you wish to fight against misinformation, you're encouraged to contribute high-quality content to the wiki—that is content that's propped up by a trusted source (examples include: Oddworld.com, Magog on the March, or The Oddworld Library) and contain no headcanons, theorizing, or any further content not directly coming from Oddworld Inhabitants.

Thank you for your attention and understanding! Happy reading and editing!

The Shipwreck is, of course, a shipwreck. It is located right outside of Buzzarton. The Shipwreck is also where you will fight Jo Mamma.

History[]

The shipwreck is a site where a shipwreck can actually be found in a segregated area from Buzzarton, being formerly used by an Outlaw group commanded by Jo' Mama. It includes the prow of a gigantic ship that seems to have crashed into the plow fields of the area.

Unknown Origin[]

The Shipwreck is a site where a shipwreck did happen sometime before or during the events of Stranger's Wrath. It's unknown what caused the shipwreck; it happened in a dense area, which is hidden behind the sewers of Buzzarton.

Rise of Jo'Mama []

Not long after the discovery of the shipwreck, Jo' Mama took siege towards the site and shut off the sewer pipes leading into it. To find archeological treasure and such, Jo' Mama started to force her boys to work on excavating the site as she retreated to her platform to bark orders.

Closure of the Sewers []

With the siege of the shipwreck and the suspected treasure waiting to be pillaged, Jo' Mama closed the sewer pipes leading to the wreckage site so no one can come in and steal their prize. This is before Stranger got the bounty from the Buzzardton Bounty Store to take Jo' Mama and her boys down.

Trivia[]

  • After the completion of this Outlaw Boss and area, the sewers of Buzzarton can be now opened up for good. With this, you can push almost all of the Clakkerz from the town into the sewers. If you do so, the remaining Clakkerz would gossip on how the Clakker, inside the sewer could never get out.
  • You don't have to take out all of Jo' Mama's outlaw minions. You can just go right up to her platform with no problem.
