Welcome to the Oddworld official Wikia, a project to document all things Odd. Being a wiki, anyone can edit, but we'd rather you didn't go around testing things on any old page, you can do that here.

What would be really useful now would be some pictures in the articles, the content is great, but a picture is worth a thousand words, and would greatly improve the wiki.

Vykkers are short, purple beings with huge heads and small, atrophied bodies consisting of two fore-legs and one hind-leg (their lower half resembles a freakishly deformed tripod) and four spindly arms. They also have incredibly high-pitched voices. They fill the role of mad scientists in Oddworld, and the thing they like best is inflicting pain on others. If a Vykker is introduced to pain, he or she will become a screaming coward. Their knowledge of medicine and surgery stems from their extreme old age and the great lengths they go in order to keep their bodies functioning long after their expiration date, (it is suspected that their stubby, stitch-ridden legs were once longer, but are altered drastically surgically once the Vykker is of age).
