Oddworld Wiki

Hi! Welcome to the Oddworld Fandom Wiki!

Recently OWI has began to publish posts on their Twitter citing articles from this site, along with content that heavily implies that the wiki is in some way official or sanctioned.

We'd like to dispel this rumor now: The Fandom Wiki is 100% community run and has in fact been long plagued by information of dubious validity, despite the valiant efforts of its editors (whose job we really appreciate, keep up the good fight!). For this reason, we'd like to ask our readers to take everything here with a great chunk of salt, especially when it comes to content without valid citations.

If you wish to fight against misinformation, you're encouraged to contribute high-quality content to the wiki—that is content that's propped up by a trusted source (examples include: Oddworld.com, Magog on the March, or The Oddworld Library) and contain no headcanons, theorizing, or any further content not directly coming from Oddworld Inhabitants.

Thank you for your attention and understanding! Happy reading and editing!

Keys are tools in Oddworld: Soulstorm that are used to open locked lockers, and are found on specific Sligs. Keys can be pick pocketed or are dropped if the Slig is killed. Once a key is found, Abe will keep it in his inventory even when replaying earlier areas, making it possible to open lockers that were previously inaccessible.

Lockers[]

Lockers that require a key often contain more advanced crafting items than what is normally available throughout the area, thereby giving Abe new ways to approach challenges and puzzles in previously completed areas.

Locations[]

  • Copper Square - Found on the first Slig Abe uses a Stun Bomb on in the Ruins.
  • Copper Circle - Found on the third Slig in the secret area that needs to be opened with a flying Slig during the elevator ride in Sorrow Valley.
  • Copper Triangle - Found on the first sleeping Slig in tank A of Phat Station.
  • Silver Square - Found on the Slig piloting the Slig Mama during the train Hijack.
  • Silver Circle - Found on a lone Slig on the far right side of the Slig Barracks maintenance area, just after finding the first Blastos vendo. Above him is a secret area.
  • Silver Triangle - Found on a sleeping Slig in the Power Station 2A section of The Mines.
  • Gold Square - Found on the Slig patroling the central platform above holding pen 2 during Escape.
  • Gold Circle - Found on the Slig that prevents you from turning off the electric fence in FeeCo Depot.
  • Gold Triangle - Found on a minigun Slig that comes down with the elevator in X-tractor 3 of Soulstorm Brewery.
