A pair of rocksaws used to enlarge a mineshaft
Industrial Rocksaws[1] are a type of bucket wheel excavator seen throughout mining facilities on Mudos. They were invented by Vykkers[1] for use in the Sorrow Valley Mines, and later used in Necrum. They appear as deadly hazards in Oddworld: Soulstorm.
Description[]
Most rocksaws take the appearance of two sets of three bucket wheels held on opposite ends of an axis. However, heavier equipment can take on a number of appearances, including versions with only one set of wheels, to a colossal designs using wheels with a diameter over ten times the height of a Mudokon.
The first design of the rocksaw was prototyped in Vykker's Labs, and they still keep the early designs on hand in case they need lethal hazards for other experiments.
