Fizzy Pow is one of the many craftable items present in Oddworld: Soulstorm. It is first crafted in Slig Barracks and can be made in all levels after except for The Sanctum.
Overview[]
Fizzy Pow is the end result of a Fizzy Pop combined with Blastos, it is a light explosive used to break scaffolding and other weak obstacles. It is both versatile and powerful, capable of knocking out multiple sligs at once. The shrapnel of the shattered can deal damage to sligs within the radius.
Unlike Fizzy Pop, Fizzy Pow cannot be given to followers. It can be further upgraded with Gum into Sticky Fizzy Pow.
Trivia[]
- The act of combining Blastos with Fizzy Pop to create an explosion is a reference on how the chemicals within Mentos creates a volatile reaction with the carbonated ingredients in soft drinks; i.e. rapid nucleation of carbon dioxide gas bubbles precipitating out of the solution which builds pressure until it erupts.
