Most articles have two lists of 'appearances'. One is in the infobox and generally refers to the character/location/whatever as it appears in the games. The infobox list should only include the most major titles, as it is meant to be a shorthand list of the most important info.
The article itself is by definition meant to expand information and go into more detail, therefor it is appropriate to mention the artbook under the 'appearances' header, if the character/whatever does in fact appear in official print. Same goes for HD titles, these should get a seperate listing because they are seperate games and, more importantly, have seperate pages.
The infobox thing is a little confusing, though. So if anything I'd be inclined to include the artbook in the infobox appearances as well for the sake of uniformity. Though it should probably have a shortened title to fit properly, something like "First Ten Years Artbook".
