First the quarma amulet which i heard it's called the queen bee shrivels up and dies then abe drops the brew and there's a glimmer of hope when they catch the spark cause its flammable then another spark comes out sets the brew on fire and burns abe and his friends alive then the burning train crashes into the brewery killing all of the slaves you were trying to save this has to be the worst bad ending in history of video games cause of how brutal it is that ending is there to tell you hey you messed up

Hey there everyone, My name is Gor Eldeen
I'm a 17 years old student and i have a dream of making the game that i always wanted to play
Since i was 5 i had an Xbox, The most game i played was Stranger's wrath, I was really enjoying replaying it again and again even tho i finished it like 20 times
Later in 2021, I found my xbox and i replayed the game but it hit more nostalgic this time...I searched the internet if there was any sequel for this amazing masterpiece but unfortunately all what i got is a discontinued multiplayer game, For what i heard that the company just left Stranger's game with only remasters for new consoles, BUT that wasn't enough for me
I want to make the child inside me and everyone who loved this game so much, I want to share the same feeling when i was playing this games with others
Ladies and gents, Even tho the fanbase of this game is small, I will be starting a project after finishing high school (Probably after 5 months) and that is Stranger's wrath: Arena, I will try my best to get the same textures and models fit perfectly with the game style, If you're interested, You can find me on my discord (GorEldeen#1506) and help me with game design and texturing
Looking forward to meet people with my same feeling
And who knows...maybe some of the employees at the co will help on the way and make it become true...Until then, See you friends <3

Greetings Oddworld wiki...
The following message relates to the page on Abe. I think that the info box should be updated to include multiple pictures. This can be used to show the subtle and drastic design changes that Abe has endured over the years. I think the same should be done for other pages that depict creatures or characters with varying designs ( Mudokons, Glukkons, Sligs, etc)
If you have taken the time to read this message, Thanks

How disappointing is it that Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is exclusive to the Xbox rather than also being on the PS2?
This is an official line up for future Oddworld releases...
This was unveiled during the Oddworld Podcast
Though it has never been confirmed, I think it is very likely that the messenger in Soulstorm is Ed from the ARG leading up to its release. All the evidence is pretty circumstantial, but I don't see any reasons it wouldn't be.
Firstly, we know Ed was deeply involved with the resistance, as the messenger would have to be to get the honor of delivering such an important item. We also know he was stationed deep in Necrum Mines, which would not only line up with the messenger, but place him in close vicinity to the Keeper.
Ed's disappearance towards the end of the ARG could've symbolized his escape from Necrum Mines as he made his way to the Sanctum where Abe was hiding.
Really though, all of this could be a coincidence. I think the biggest lean in the favor of this theory is Ed's existence altogether. As he never appeared in Soulstorm after so much attention during the ARG, never even a reference, it would make sense that this was why he was so important.
That Ed was the messenger who finally managed to escape only to tragically die in Abe's arms. If only there could've been another way...
I just realized that Mudokons kind of resemble 'Dinosauroids' to me. For those who don't know, Dinosauroids are sentient bipedal theropod dinosaurs that were once suggested to exist if dinosaurs hadn't gone extinct. According to Oddworld Inhabitants Mudokons evolved from birds. Paleontologists believe that all modern birds are members of the clade Theropoda, which also contains therapod dinosaurs. In the book Oddworld: Abes Origins, Lorne Lanning describes in an interview that early on in his career he would illustrate extinct animals like marine reptiles and dinosaurs. Perhaps this experience in paleoart may have inspired Lorne to base the Mudokons partially on the dinosauroid concepts that were somewhat prevalent at the time.

Hello everyone!
It's been a long few years for Soulstorm's development, but at long last the release is only 2 weeks or so away. With that I expect (and kinda hope) a surge of traffic to the wiki as a brand new audience looks up information about the game. At the very least the release will provide an absolute ton of new information that needs to be added to the wiki, both in the form of lore, but also in the form of gameplay mechanics. The crafting system in particular will get some special dedication on the wiki, as that is possibly one of the things people will look for the most. I've been laying the foundation for all of this by adding new pages, but a lot of them still need to be checked for accuracy once the game releases, a ton of images need to be added, and a lot of content still needs to be written in the first place. So if you're looking for something to do, check out the pages that need attention, and don't shy away from contributing your own writing. Everyone can edit a wiki!
Incoming changes to Fandom
The Oddworld Wiki has its home on the Fandom platform (previously known as Wikia). This means that our wiki is part of a larger network, and that Fandom as a company has the final say over certain things like page layout, backend software and ad placement. This arrangement hasn't always been smooth sailing, but it needs to be said that, lately, Fandom is trying to work with its users in building a powerful and easy to use wiki platform.
Fandom recently merged with another wiki platform called Gamepedia, and both have since been in the process of merging the platforms together under the Fandom banner. The next step of this venture is a big update to the visual presentation of Fandom wikis, specifically for desktop users. More information about that can be found in this blog post.
What this means for the Oddworld Wiki is that we will be holding off on any planned graphical changes to our wiki until this change is fully rolled out. The new look is expected to be more modern, but will probably also throw a massive wrench in the works for any custom theming that the wiki currently has, so it would be a waste to invest time and effort into this any further. Once the changes are live, we can see about giving the new Fandom look a bit more of an Oddworld touch.
Because of this, and because a good portion of Fandom traffic comes from mobile sources that don't see the desktop themes anyway, the main focus on the wiki now is adding content. Writing accurate articles, filling out infoboxes and adding at least one image to every page.
As usual all help is greatly appreciated. I've had this wiki under my wing for a couple of years now, and while I don't intend to abandon it anytime soon, it is a lot of work for just one person. So if you want to help, please do! And if you're unsure what to do, feel free to ask me and I'm sure we can find something :).
Happy editing!
